Sunday 3-Hour CCL Renewal & Recertification Class

Our state-approved 3-hour renewal course keeps current and expired Illinois Concealed Carry License holders up to date. It covers updates to Illinois and federal firearms law, use-of-force law, and lawful interaction with law enforcement, followed by a live-fire refresher and qualification on a B-27 silhouette target.

This class is for current or expired Illinois CCL holders only. It is not for first-time applicants, who need the full 16-hour class.

What to bring: your current or previous Illinois CCL, pen and paper, eye and ear protection, an unloaded firearm in a case, and a minimum of 30 rounds of factory ammunition.

Additional fees paid at the range: $25 range fee. The Illinois State Police application fee is paid separately to the state.

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

Please read. Cancellations and reschedules require written notice by email at least 7 days before your scheduled class. No-shows, students turned away for arriving late, and reschedule requests with less than 7 days notice are subject to a $50 rescheduling fee. Refunds are available only if you purchased directly from West Suburban CCW within the last 90 days.
